Vinitaly in Moscow

Israel was represented at VinItaly in Moscow, Russia by Carmel Winery & Yatir Winery. The exhibition was organized by Vin Italy. They are doing a roads how around the world, taking some finest wineries with them and were recently in Tokyo. Arnon Geva, Export Director of both Carmel & Yatir, said: “We were proud to be invited and to have the chance to offer our finest wines to the Russian wine trade. We see the Russian market as a very important market for Israeli wines. In addition the knowledge & expertise amongst those in the industry was very high.”
During the two day event, there was a seminar about the wines of Israel.
Carmel is the historic winery of Israel founded in 1882 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild. Yatir is one of Israel’s most exciting ‘new’ boutique wineries, situated at Tel Arad.
