You would think that as a tech geek I would have started a blog a long time ago, but this is actually my first blog post ever! Being that this is such a special event I thought I would give you a little insight into who I am.
I was born and raised in Chicago, IL (more specifically Skokie), and was always fascinated with technology. Growing up I was always working at my family run business, a kosher grocery store called Hungarian Kosher Foods. I always promised myself that I wouldn't get into that business because I saw how hard my family worked and I thought there must be a better way. Well as luck would have it when I graduated college the economy was teatering on a recession and 9/11 was just two months later. Needless to say I couldn't find a job and found myself sucked into the family businesss.
Most of the details you can read in my profile, but the end result was that I decided to merge technology and Kosher wines to create KosherWine.com and this is where my journey began. Since that time which was about 9 years ago, I have realized the power of using technology to enhance an industry, more specifically the wine industry. My goal is to create technologies that will enhance the Kosher/Israeli wine industry. My first step was KosherWine.com and my next step is through MYKEREM.com. Here I hope to facilitate the ability to communicate between the consumer and the wineries. Allowing wineries to directly market to the consumer and wine hobbyist. The consumer also benefits with an easy to use website that will allow them to find all of the information they need on any wine and allow them to communicate with the rest of the wine community.
In my next blog post I will talk about all of the great tools that MYKEREM has to offer. In the meantime, feel free to start your own blog and share your thoughts about the Israeli wine industry, or just the wine industry in general.

I think both of your sites are great. I am a customer of Kosherwine.com and you have some pretty good sales. When is Yarden cab going back on sale. Good luck with your new sites.
