THURSDAY

My first stop on Thursday, arriving at the Flam Winery.

Tasting room at the Flam winery.

Golan Flam on the left and Gilad Flam on the right at the Flam winery.

My second stop of the day is Ella Valley Vineyards. Here I am in a picture with the head winemaker, Doron Rav Hon at the Ella Valley Vineyards.

Third winery of the day is Katlav. This was the most unique experience of the trip. This is the tasting room, or more like Yossi's personal space. It is dimly lit and relaxing in this barn-like building.

Yossi ages his wines in barrels inside a cave-like structure. Here I am in the tasting room looking into the cave.

A picture with the owner and winemaker of Katlav, Yossi Yittach.

I'm on my way to Domaine du Castel from Katlav and we pass by a forest fire in the Judean Hills.

Another look at the forest fire in the Judean Hills.

The wine cellar where all wines are aged at Domaine du Castel.

A beautiful view of the Judean Hills as I am leaving Domain du Castel.

At night I went to a restaurant called Itzik Ha Gadol in Tel Aviv. It is an amazing middle eastern restaurant in Jaffa that I highly recommend anyone visiting to try. As soon as you sit down, before you order, they start bringing side dishes. I think it totaled about 20 dishes in all!

Great pics. Is Kitron kosher? Did you go to the top of Tabor Mountain? Probably didn't have time...

These pictures are amazing. I am looking forward to you putting all of the wineries on a map. I always thought how cool those California wine country trips are, unfortunatly the wine and the food is not kosher. I would like to ask you to put together a kosher trip plan where you can eat and drink kosher in Israel.
