Red and dark berries on the nose and palate, a hint of plum, and an element of sweetness on the finish. Smooth and medium bodied with a medium length finish. Definitely enjoyable, but quite pricey. My recommendation is to thoroughly aerate before drinking; I opened the bottle 2+ hours in advance and the tannins were still pretty powerful, but settled down over time. Certainly a good candidate for a decanter.
