Chateau Labegorce Margaux 2004

Dark garnet in color with fruit, chocolate, and tobacco on the nose. Blackberries, raspberries, faint coffee and herbal notes, and firm tannins. Medium bodied with medium length finish that has the characteristic – though now faded – Margaux tartness. Not nearly as enjoyable as the ’00, ’01, and ’03 vintages. On its way out, so drink up!
