This is one of my first true wine loves and set my expectations for all great wines. Sharp tannins of its youth have settled in nicely yielding an elegant, well balanced and thoroughly enjoyable wine. Fruit still remains but noticeably muted, spice is all but gone. Deep crimson in color, with dominating notes of plum, silky smooth texture, and quick finish. Unfortunately, this is my last bottle. If you are fortunate enough to have a bottle, this wine will hang on for another 9 months to a year, so drink up. Enjoy!
