General Information
The grapes for this richly flavored wine were harvested at one of Israel's finest vineyards. This wine was carefully produced and aged in the finest oak barrels for 25 months. The wine's rich, fruity aroma and flavor complement a wide variety of foods. Since the wine was neither fined nor filtered, it may develop some sediment as time passes.

Full Bodied and rich in ripe fruit and smooth tannins and oak. Long and marvelous finish. If you like the Dishon 2002, you will love the Unfiltered 2002 Segals. One of my top 3 favorite Cabernets of all time and comes close to a Yatir Forest 2003 for taste/depth and complexity.

Very nice wine; similar to the 2002 vintage. Please allow this wine to breath for about 45 minutes in a decanter before serving. The wait will be worth it as the wine opens up tremendously giving you full rich tannins and hearty berry flavors.

Just cracked open a bottle of this last night. Great responses from the whole table. Taste was rich and deep. Not spicy, very smooth and one of my favorite bottles.

Full-bodied, rich and ripe, with fine balance between generous tannins and smoky oak. On the nose and palate currants, berries, plums, vanilla and on the long finish light herbs, black pepper and chocolate.

Very powerful aromas of blueberry, menthol, and forest fruits. Very tannic; this took days to show off it's true self. This brute was enjoyed way to early! The 2002 and 2003 are probably showing much better right now. Quality stuff.

This is a full-bodied wine, nicely integrated, with silky tannins and a nice finish. A very well-made bottle, it can stand up to some of the best Israeli cabs.
