General Information
Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon was produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Golan Heights and Upper Galilee. The cool climate, rocky volcanic soil and high altitude are ideal conditions for growing this classic variety. Aging in French oak barrels for 18 months yields a concentrated wine of impressive complexity with layers of berry, blackcurrant, chocolate, leather and oak.

This wine has really opened up since I first tasted it a couple of months ago. Very dark color. Nice bouquet of ripe fruit. On the palate, dense, concentrated, with loads of ripe fruit. This wine has plenty of tannic grip too. This can be enjoyed now, but with proper cellaring could be aged 10-15 years. This wine is a winner every year. Great quality for the price
