My interest in wines began in an unsuspecting way. It goes back to my college days when I decided to major in Computer Science. At the time computer programmers were in demand and I was assured to get many job offers. As life always takes unexpected turns, by the time I had graduated from college the dot com bubble had burst and no computer programming jobs could be found. So I decide to expand a little website that I had started when I was still in college, KosherWine.com. What started as a project to keep my skills sharp, become a successful company. Today KosherWine.com is the largest online kosher wine website with one of the largest selection of kosher wines in the world. At the time I didn't know a thing about wines. I couldn't tell you if a Cabernet was red or white! Luckily I was able to meet many knowlegeable wine mavens, and tast wines with many winemakers. I traveled to wineries, and tasting all over the world. And today I can confidently say that a Cabernet is a red wine. As KosherWine.com continues to be successfull I have realized the importance of using technology to enhance wine consumers' ability to enjoy wine. Just as we were on the cutting edge when KosherWine.com was launched I hope to continue this goal with MYKEREM and beyond.
