Segal's Fusion Red 2005

Very ordinary wine and non-complex. Found it lacking in finish and totally no-dsecript. No ripe fruit to speak off and this formulation left me wanting to find a real wine with some depth and complexity. Sorry Segal but far from you best wines like the Unfiltered Cab and other Cabs.

Full Bodied and rich in ripe fruit and smooth tannins and oak. Long and marvelous finish.If you like the Dishon 2002, you will love the Unfiltered 2002 Segals. One of my top 3 favorite Cabernets of all time and comes close to a Yatir Forest 2003 for taste/depth and complexity.

Ella Valley Vineyards Vineyard's Choice Cabernet Sauvignon 2003

Made up of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc, this deep dark inpenetrable ambrosia is rich with ripe fruit and oaky notes. Tannins are rich and smmoth. 17 months in oak have only made this wine even better if that was possible. This vintage/label are becoming harder to locate. Run don't walk to place your ordrs. THIS IS ONE WINE NOT TO MISS.

Ella Valley Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2004

Note: Israel 60 Special Edition. Full Bodied and soft tannins (14.5% alcohol and 100% Cabernet Sauvignon) but not as complex as Ella Valley's Vineyard Choice Cabernet Sauvignon 2003 and also not as fruity. nevertheless a fine wine to enjoy especially at this price level and from this extraordinary vineyard. You will not be disappointed!

Yatir Forest 2003

A Great Powerful and Deeply Complex Israeli Cabernet. With the advent of the 2003 Vintage, the makeup is 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Merlot and not 100% Cabernet as reported.Nevertheless the price (US $50 or better)of this Cabernet Sauvignon is well worth it. The Deep Purple/Garnet color, full bodied taste and well balanced tannins and long lasting finish is simply amazing. This is a definite MUST BUY and Daniel Rogov has rated Yatir Forest wines at 90 or above.
