This is not what we in the United States would call Petite Sirah. This tastes nothing like many of the petite sirahs I have had. They must be using one incredibly inferior clone out there. Sour Prunes on day 1, no tannins really of which to speak. Day 2 was sour plums, which is at least an improvement. I won't buy this again, and you should avoid it at all costs. There are MUCH better kosher wines, even for the price. There are also very good petite sirahs from Israel -- Vitkin, Recanati's blends, Carmel, Sea Horse. This is the exact opposite of those. People who think this is good petite sirah or even better than barely drinkable, must be drinking something else entirely. One of the worst wines I have had in my lifetime.
