A very dark bodied merlot, full of oak hints and black fruit. There is a sense, however, that something is missing. Perhaps the wine has fallen apart.

This is one of the better wines in this price range. The aroma never seems to disappoint and the blend always seems to have the right level of quality fruit and acidity. A good buy.

Disappointing. I was really looking forward to this bottle but it came out very flat, acidic and lacking meaningful fruit or structure. Perhaps I just got a bad bottle. I will try another before casting off this much praised vintage.

Exquisitely well balanced, supple and smooth. Sipping this delicate wine is like kissing your teenage sweetheart for the first time all over again.

I bought a case of the 2000 about two years ago and I am down to my last bottle. The reviews are right that it needs a little time to air out, but the nose is amazing and the taste is rich. This is not your typical $20 wine.

Very oakey, very sweet (for a dry wine), very dark and very enjoyable. A standard aged Cabernet. It's won't knock your socks off but it won't disappoint. Priced reasonably.

I bought this bottle last year in Tel Aviv when I was in Israel for Passover, and drank it this year at the same time during Chold HaMoed. This is a dark and chewy wine with a subtle bouquet. It is remarkably smooth and light with little acidity. A dry wine lover's dream and reasonably priced. My only criticism is that it seems a little stingy on the fruit.

This smooth wine is one that everyone can enjoy. Good Pinot Noir has been described as a velvet glove and this is just that. Extremely well balanced and very high quality, this bottle will go well with just about any meal or occasion.
