When buying this wine, I expected something somewhat similar to the Ella Valley merlot since it is made at the same facility, even if less polished and maybe a decent buy. I was too generous. The color was nice, but looked a little watery. The nose had an interesting combination of blackberries and cloves. It was a little thin in the mouth with some black pepper and not too much fruit and a little too much acidity. I wouldn't buy it again.

Nice new world style blend. Deep purplish red color with a very pleasant aroma and berry fruit flavor and juicy tannins. A nice wine, but maybe not the best value for nearly $30. Otherwise, it's a good buy.

Very nice Pinot. Had great dry strawberry and light "gym socks" Pinot flavors and aromas. A little hot, but not in a bad way. Very enjoyable.

Consistently the best value coming out of Israel. This wine brings some serious thunder from year to year and is one of my favorites. It is big, structured, and balanced. A must try.

Very good full bodied Bordeaux style blend of 60% Cab, 33% Merlot, and 7% Petite Syrah. Nice dark color with berries on the nose. Notes of raspberries, cassis, and spice with gentle tannins. Less aggressive than Ella's varietal releases.
