Gush Etzion Gush Etzion Nahal HaPirim, Dry Red Wine 2007
Black cherry colored with a splendid aroma, this earthy full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc blend has a spicy, complex character, soft tannins and a long, dry finish. Very nice indeed.

Didn't think too much of this wine when I reviewed it two years ago but, re-tasting it now, it shows great improvement. This deep garnet colored Cabernet-Petit Verdot blend is an aromatic medium to full bodied wine, nicely balanced, showing cherry and red berries with a bit of woody vanilla. It has a long, dry, spicy finish. Very nice!

Champagne colored, lightly effervescent, having a richly perfumed aroma with the distinct Muscat grape flavors one would expect from a traditional Asti. Sweet and fruity with well balanced acidity. Quite pleasant.

Deep garnet colored with a lush fruity aroma and taste, medium-bodied, soft tannins, having a rich, complex character. Spicy, with a touch of smoke and a remarkably long, beckoning finish. An elegant and interesting wine.
